* Detroit syndicated horror movie host Wolfman Mac and his Chiller Drive In cast and crew host Howl A Day Fest -- A Very Hairy Xmas Party! at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 12, at the Crofoot Ballroom, 1 S. Saginaw St., Pontiac. The show includes Holiday Carol-aoke, a Holiday Vendor Village and an auction of custom-made holiday wreaths to benefit Waggs and Wishes Animal Rescue. * Callahan's Music Hall will host a couple of festive shows for the pre-holiday weekend. The Back Door Blues Band will play Savannah Don's Blues Christmas Party on Friday, Dec. 10. Doors open at 8 p.m. Tickets are $5. On Saturday, Dec. 11, the Detroit Blues Society holds its Holiday Meeting and Jam with the Robert Penn Band and others.
