* Detroit rockers Sponge will be rocking on Friday night, Nov. 5 — and also rolling, to five local venues, with fans joining the group aboard its bus. The Plowed Pub Crawl runs from 7 p.m.-2 a.m., hitting clubs in Hamtramck, Ferndale, Fraser, Mount Clemens and St. Clair Shores. For $40 fans can board the bus and travel with the band, with 100 percent of the proceeds going to Detroit F.I.R.E. — Firefighters Injured Relief Effort. * Hard rockers Fifth Way celebrate the release of their first video and their association with the new Chevrolet Cruze ad campaign with a show on Friday, Nov. 5, at the Magic Bag, 22920 Woodward Ave., Ferndale. * The Windsor public radio station CJAM-FM (99.1) is bringing its pledge drive to these shores with a fundraising show Saturday night, Nov. 6, at the Corktown Tavern, 1715 Michigan Ave., Detroit. Willy Wilson, host of the “Motor City Burning” program, will host, while the Fake Take, Bull Halsey and Rachel May will perform. Doors open at 9 p.m., and the $7 cover goes to CJAM.
