Multi-platinum Detroit rapper Eminem will be the subject of a profile on CBS's "60 Minutes" airing at 7 p.m. this Sunday, Oct. 10, on WWJ-TV in Detroit.

Eminem (real name Marshall Mathers III) was interviewed in Detroit by "60 Minutes" correspondent Anderson Cooper prior to his Sept. 2-3 concerts with Jay-Z at Comerica Park. The two discussed the rapper's new album, "Recovery," as well as his career and life in general.

"Recovery," Eminem's eighth full-length album, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 when it was released in June. It's currently sold more than 2.7 million copies in the U.S.
