* After packing Saint Andrews Hall the night after Christmas, Goober & the Peas reunite yet again for another show on Saturday, July 17, back at Saint Andrews, 431 E. Congress St., Detroit. * Ferndale’s Magic Bag rolls out two significant local music bills this weekend. Half Light Music, featuring former members of Paper Street Saints, tops Friday, July 16, a lineup that includes the Robin Horlock Band, Crashing Cairo and Jay Graves. Tickets are $8. On Saturday, July 17, Motor City expatriates Natives of the New Dawn come home to premiere songs from their new EP, “The Show,” with Cody Stagefright and National Ghost opening. Tickets are $10. * The School of Rock All Stars, featuring students from the Rochester and St. Clair Shores branches, are celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Live Aid this summer with the “Live Aid Remade” tour, performing music from the famed famine relief benefit concerts. The troupe hits town at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 20, at the Ritz, 24300 Hoover Road, Warren.
