Simon & Garfunkel Cancel U.S. Tour, Palace Date

There's apparently no bridge for the troubled water that is Simon & Garfunkel's 2010 North American tour.

All of the duo's scheduled dates, including a July 17 stop at the Palace of Auburn Hills, have been "postponed indefinitely" while Art Garfunkel continues to recover from severe vocal paresis. Doctors say Garfunkel will recover, but they can't set a certain timeline, which led he and Paul Simon to put the tour on hold.

In a statement, Garfunkel said, "I do feel bad about disrupting so many people's plans but, as I continue to mend, I can't yet bring my 'A Game' to a tour, and I would not perform for you with anything less."

The dates had already been rescheduled from the spring.

Tickets can be refunded at the point of purchase. Call the Palace at 248-377-0100 with any other questions.
