Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band will be home to play for the holidays.
After announcing one show for Dec. 20 at The Palace of Auburn Hills, Seger and company added three more shows to the run — Dec. 22, 28 and 30 — when tickets went on sale Saturday.
Palace officials say none of the four shows are completely sold out, though tickets are relatively scarce for the earlier dates.
The homecoming concerts are part of Seger’s first tour in 10 years, to promote his latest album, “Face the Promise.” The tour kicks off Wednesday in Grand Rapids.
They mark Seger’s fi rst fullscale concerts in this area since he finished his “It’s a Mystery” tour on June 21, 1996, at the Pine Knob Music Theatre. Since then he’s appeared as a special guest at Detroit area concerts by 3 Doors Down and Kid Rock, and sang “America the Beautiful” at Game One of the World Series in October.
Tickets for each of the Palace shows are $62.50 and available at the box offi ce, Ticketmaster locations or via www.palacenet.com. There’s an eight-ticket limit and no word yet on whether Seger plans to add more area dates to the tour.
