If Palace Sports & Entertainment has its way, it will keep the I-75 corridor between Auburn Hills and Independence Township rocking, as Kid Rock would say, all summer long.

The organization has issued a schedule of more than 80 events from May through September at the Palace of Auburn Hills, the DTE Energy Music Theatre and the Meadow Brook Music Festival. Most have already been announced -- 41 are already on sale, in fact -- but there are still a few exciting new entries on the list, including: a double bill of Eric Clapton and the Who's Roger Daltrey on July 3 at DTE; the Renegade Revival Tour featuring Travis Tritt, Dickey Betts and the Outlaws on July 8 at DTE; the Detroit Symphony Orchestra's full schedule for Meadow Brook; a pair of Wiggles shows on Aug. 27 at the Palace; and Meadow Brook's annual Wine & Food Festival Aug. 28-29.

More than 70 percent of the schedule will feature discounted ticket prices, according to PS&E. Some three dozen -- including perennial season opener Eddie Money, the Scorpions' farewell tour, Huey Lewis & the News, Anita Baker and Ted Nugent -- will have lawn tickets priced at $10 or $15. PS&E will also offer discounted four- and six-pack deals for both pavilion and lawn tickets for a number of the shows, including Insane Clown Posse, Backstreet Boys, Sheryl Crow, Santana and Steve Winwood, Iron Maiden and O.A.R.

This year's lineup follows a 2009 summer season that included 110 events, 29 sellouts and attendance of more than 900,000 at the three venues.

Ticket information on the entire summer schedule is available by calling 248-377-0100 or visiting www.palacenet.com. An asterisk (*) indicates tickets are already on sale
