The Zac Brown Band, Dierks Bentley and Detroit's own Uncle Kracker will headline this year's 99.5 WYCD Downtown Hoedown May 14-16 at Hart Plaza.
Bentley will close the 28th annual country festival's first night, while pop-country crossover favorite Kracker (real name Matt Shaffer) will play last on Saturday night. Brown and company, whose 2009 Hoedown set featured a guest appearance by Kid Rock, will be the festival's final act on Sunday.
Other national acts on the Hoedown docket include Randy Houser, Justin Moore, Steel Magnolia, James Otto, Steve Azar, Darryl Worley and Stephen Cochran.
The Forbes Brothers, Julianne, JoCain and WDIV-TV (Channel 4) anchorman Devin Scillian are among the local acts playing this year's Hoedown, the first to be produced by LiveNation Entertainment.
The Hoedown is North America's largest free country music event. More information and updates are available at www.wycd.com.
