* Musical comedian J. Chris Newberg, a Brother Rice High School graduate and one of the stars at comedy.com, comes home for a pair of shows Saturday (March 13) — 7 and 10 p.m. — at the Magic Bag, 22920 Woodward Ave., Detroit. * Detroit headbangers Teratoma take their self-described “sinutal green metal” and songs from their latest album, “Personatropolis,” for a spin on Friday (March 12) at the Eagle Theater, 15 S. Saginaw St., Pontiac. Frontline Mentality, Die-Sect, Writhing, Overexertion and Mechanism of Misery fill out the bill. Doors open at 8 p.m. Tickets are $12. * Mark Pasman, host of WCSX’s “Motor City Blues Project” on Sunday nights, brings his guitar out on Saturday (March 13) to host one of his all-star Pazman Super Session at Memphis Smoke, 100 S. * The legendary Detroit punk rock club Bookie’s will be remembered with performances by the Sillies and Mikal at the annual Bookie’s Anniversary Reunion show, which takes place Friday (March 12) at the Rack & Roll Club, 13634 Sibley Road, Riverview.
