Rappers Hush, Monica Blaire and Ro Spit and the funk group HotSauce will be Jammin’ For Joseph & the MDA on Friday (March 5) in a benefit for Commerce Township 7-year-old Joseph Penrod, who was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy two years ago, and the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The show takes place at 7 p.m. at the Fillmore Detroit, 2115 Woodward Ave. Tickets are $30 and $20, with a $75 VIP mezzanine level that includes a gourmet dinner and pre-show reception. The 13th annual Metro Times Blowout continues its four-day run Friday and Saturday (March 5-6), with more than 100 acts playing 15 venues in Hamtramck.
