The weekly entertainment tabloid Real Detroit will celebrate its 11th anniversary in a big way on Saturday (Feb. 27) with 14 artists performing on four stages in the Majestic Complex, 4120 Woodward Ave., Detroit. Among the headliners are Insane Clown Posse, Sponge, the Hell Drivers, Satin Peaches, Gorevette, Critical Bill and the Muggs. Amp Fiddler, Malik Alston & the Linwood Ensemble, Big Tone and Allan Barnes are among the jazz, R&B and electronic artists and poets performing at Friday's (Feb. 26) United Artists Benefit For Life at the Jazz Cafe in the Music Hall Center, 550 Madison Ave., Detroit. Ann Arbor musicians Laith Al-Saadi, the Bluescasters and Hullabaloo are gathering Friday (Feb. 26) for a concert to benefit the FISL School of Nursing, which was damaged during the recent Haiti earthquake.
