It will be a happy holiday season for Bob Seger fans in the metro area. Seger will play his first home town concert in more than a decade at 7:30 p.m. December 20 at the Palace of Auburn Hills. Tickets go on sale November 4; prices will be announced next week. The show is part of Seger's tour supporting his new album, "Face the Promise," which begins November 8 in Grand Rapids. He's expected to play several Detroit area shows, possibly at more than one venue, but no other dates have yet been announced.
