Due to production considerations, pop star Lady Gaga's two upcoming Detroit shows have been moved from the Fox Theatre to Joe Louis Arena.
According to promoter Livenation, Lady Gaga's stage set is "too large to be accommodated" at the Fox, necessitating the move to a larger venue for the Jan. 12-13 concerts. Showtime remains 7:30 p.m. each night, but those holding tickets for the Fox shows will have to exchange them for new tickets at Joe Louis.
Those who purchased tickets at the box office or a Ticketmaster outlet must return to the point of purchase to make the exchange. Anyone who bought tickets online or by phone will be contacted by Ticketmaster with instructions. A selection of new tickets, priced $35-$75, will also go on sale for the shows starting at 5 p.m. Tuesday (Jan. 29).
