U2 is bringing its acclaimed U2 360 tour to Michigan next June at Spartan Stadium in East Lansing.
The Irish quartet will perform in the land of the green and white on June 30 as part of the second North American leg of the world tour, which began June 30 in Barcelona, Spain. An on-sale date for tickets will be announced soon, with general admission tickets for the field level at $55 and at least 10,000 seats priced at $30.
The tour features the largest-ever rock 'n' roll road production with the band performing on a round stage dubbed The Claw, which is 150 feet tall and uses a network of rotating bridges and ramps as well as a massive, cylindrical LED video screen. More than three million fans have seen the show in Europe and North America this year; U2 wraps up the current North American leg on Wednesday (Oct. 38) in Vancouver, though the group will also play at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 25th anniversary concert on Friday (Oct. 30) at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
So far only a dozen shows have been announced for the second North American tour.
U2 will offer pre-sale opportunities to members of its official fan club. Information is available at www.u2.com.
