Rothbury Offers Special Weekend Pass

Don’t want to attend all four days of this year’s Rothbury Festival? Organizers have made it possible to come to just two — and to catch headliners The Dead, Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson & Family.

Rothbury is selling a two-day Saturday and Sunday ticket for July 4, when The Dead perform, and July 5, when Dylan and Nelson close the holiday weekend affair at the Double JJ Ranch in Rothbury. The ticket runs $167 and includes on-site camping and parking and is on sale at www. rothburyfestival.com and by calling (888) 512-7469.

Tickets for $272.50, are also on sale for the full Rothbury Festival, which features more than 60 bands — including July 3 headliner the String Cheese Incident in their only 2009 concert. Also performing this year are Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, Nas, STS9, G. Love & Special Sauce, Gov’t Mule, Broken Social Scene, Cold War Kids, Matisyahu, Guster, Les Claypool, Chromeo, Girl Talk, The Hold Steady, Ani DiFranco and others.

More artists are expected to be announced in the coming months.
