The gypsy jazz group Hot Club of Detroit will host its sixth annual Detroit Django Reinhardt Festival

Friday (March 27), paying tribute to the threefingered Belgian guitarist and inventor of the gypsy form. Guitarist Frank Vignola and violinist Zach Brock also will be part of the show, which starts at 8 p.m. at Cliff Bell’s, 2030 Park Ave., Detroit. Tickets are $10. The ‘dotte Arts Project’ (DAP) is hosting a show Friday (March 27) at Pontiac’s Pike Room to raise money for its summer festival, which takes place in conjunction with the Wyandotte Street Fair. Among the 17 performers will be Misty Lyn & the Big Beautiful, Frontier Ruckus, Tone and Niche and DJ Bouget. The Pike Room is in the Crofoot Ballroom, 1 S. Saginaw St., Pontiac.
