Detroit area modern rockers Fireworks celebrate next Tuesday’s release of their new album, “All I Have to Offer is My Own Confusion,” with a show tonight at Modern Exchange, 12219 Dix-Toledo Road, Southgate.

A couple Michigan bands roll into Pontiac tonight for a special Covers Lovers edition of Phonotropic. Port Huron’s Pixie Dixx will play the music of the Pixies, while Fish Lips paddle in from Kalamazoo to play a set of songs by the Smiths.
