Tickets for Billy Joel and Elton John's May 21 Face 2 Face Tour stop at the Palace of Auburn Hills -- which Palace President and CEO Tom Wilson referred to as "a signature event" -- will go on sale Jan. 24.
Tickets will be priced $180, $100 and $54.50, with a six-ticket limit per person. The date marks the duo's third Face 2 Face stop in Oakland County, following an August 1994 concert at the Pontiac Silverdome and a pair of May 2003 shows at the Palace of Auburn Hills.
At a press conference Thursday (Jan. 15) Wilson said Joel and John would each be presented with banners commemorating their sold-out shows at the Palace sell-outs: John has played 14 capacity concerts, while Joel has filled the Palace a dozen times. The banners will be displayed in the Palace rafters alongside similar honors for Bon Jovi, Neil Diamond and Alan Jackson.
