The local band revue Sinister Saturdays opens its run at Pontiac’s Eagle Theatre this weekend (Nov. 8) with

a bill headlined by When Savior Comes and featuring the Aspirations, Black Rose, Burn the Script, Crash the Kid, 89 Cent Special and 13 Lucky Bullets. The Eagle is located at 15 S. Saginaw St. Doors open at 5 p.m. Admission is $10. Call (248) 858-9333 or visit www.thecrofoot.com.

Veteran local singer-songwriter Stewart Francke will present his Soul Revue with the Regular Boys on Saturday (Nov. 8) to celebrate the release of his new album, “Stewart Francke Alive and Unplugged at the Ark.” The show takes place at the Village Players Theater, 34660 Woodward Ave., Birmingham. Friends and musical colleagues of Bill Koggenhop, who played in the bands Immunity and Orquesta Sensacional before passing away in June, will gather to pay tribute on Tuesday (Nov. 11) at Memphis Smoke, 100 S. Main St., Royal Oak. The music gets underway at 7:15 p.m., with performances by Immunity, DM3, GEQ Jazz, Lynn Laplante Septet, Bugs Beddow Band, Kerry Lundquist and others.
