It’s been a long time since Robert Bradley was busking on the streets of Detroit’s Eastern Market, but the veteran singer, songwriter and bandleader, now a Saginaw resident, is still leading his Blackwater Surprise. The group returns to its old stomping grounds Friday (Feb. 22) at the Magic Bag, 22920 Woodward Ave., Ferndale. Greenstreet and Brother Ash are also on the bill. Doors open at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10. Call (248) 544-3030 or visit www. themagicbag.com.

The Detroit trio Which Way Is Home brings its inventive brand of rock to Pontiac Friday (Feb. 22) at the Pike Room inside the Crofoot, 1 S. Saginaw St. Schaeffer and Vince Dynamic also perform. Doors open at 7 p.m. Admission is $10. Call (248) 858-9333 or visit www.thecrofoot.com.

Rock-funk hybridist Nadir brings his Distorted Soul back to Oakland County for a show Friday (Feb. 22) at Memphis Smoke, 100 S. Main St., Royal Oak. The group goes on at 10 p.m. There’s no cover charge. Call (248) 543-4300.

Dutch DJ Fedde Le Grand is not from Detroit, of course, but he’s an adopted son thanks to his dance club hit “Put Your Hands Up 4 Detroit.” He makes his first visit to spin in the Motor City at 8 p.m. Sunday (Feb. 24) at V Nightclub inside the MGM Grand Detroit Hotel & Casino, 1777 Third St., Detroit. Call (877) 888-2121 or visit www.mgmgranddetroit.com.
