Allen Park horror rockers Country Bob & the Bloodfarmers get their punk/ metal gore on Friday (Jan. 4) at the Magic Stick, 4120 Woodward Ave., Detroit.

Eight of southeastern Michigan’s top singer-songwriters — including Jan Krist, Annie Capps, Jim Bizer and radio personality Matt Watroba — join forces as the Yellow Room Gang, named after the living room of member David Tamulevich’s house in Ann Arbor. The collective is celebrating the release of its first album, “The Yellow Room Gang, Volume 1,” and performs at 8 p.m. Friday (Jan. 4) at The Ark, 315 S. Main St., Ann Arbor. Tickets are $15.
