A couple of us met through a 'Musicians Wanted' board. Went through a few different line-ups. Ended up with these four guys. Seems to work for making the music that we want to make.
What's up with the name:
We used to go by the name, Certified Angus. We recorded a demo and played some shows. Then, life got in the way and we went on a brief hiatus (which ended up lasting a few years). When we got back together and decided to record a debut album, we needed a fresh start. New name. New attitude. New music. After way too much discussion on the subject, we were going to settle for something that none of us liked, but none of us hated. Over a few beers one night we took a line from one of our first songs and it stuck. We ARE 40 Stitches Later.
Rock / Americana / Alt-Country
